So you can continue to enjoy your Philips product, we would like to inform you about the warranty and services available for your Philips products.

WARRANTY

Syakar Company Limited warrants all its Philips Colour Television / Audio / VCD / DVD / VCR / VCP set and is free from defects in material and workmanship. Syakar Company Limited will repair or replace any part or parts of the above mentioned products (including picture tubes for television), if the manufacturing defect is detected within the period of 5 years for television and a period of one year for other products, from the date of purchase as per the terms and conditions stated below.

Terms and Conditions:

1. The cost of transportation, delivery and handling charges will be borne by the customer.
2. The warranty shall not apply to products that are damaged by:
   a. Lightning or over voltage from the mains
   b. Misuse by the customer
   c. Accident or improper installation by the customer
   d. Pests, natural calamities or transit
   e. Repair or tampering by unauthorized agency or person.
3. The warranty does not cover remote controls or switches or CD drive lenses, or any accessories, if any, supplied with the product.
4. If the product is purchased by a second party, the warranty is not transferable.
5. External housing and cosmetic parts of the product are not covered by the warranty.
6. All warranty claims shall be accompanied by the warranty card.
7. Syakar Company Limited shall not be liable for any delays for the repair of the product, in the event of unavailability of components and shall in no way be responsible for any losses that may arise due to the delay.
8. The warranty is valid only in Nepal.
